Did I mention my birthday is around the corner? I'm so excited! It truly is my favorite day of the year!! Some people hate birthdays and view them as a reminder of how old they are getting... I chose to view mine as how far I've come... and that's a long way, but I plan on going a lot further!!! Every year I try to figure out the ONE thing I want to DO for my special day... sometimes it's a nice dinner with my family, sometimes I just want to NOT have to clean up behind anyone else... THIS year... I want a GIRLS NIGHT OUT!!! I admit to being royally spoiled by my awesomely wonderful husband... I get lots of nights to do stuff like MOPS meetings & off-week activities, Craft nights, choir rehearsals... but I want a real girls night! I want to see a chick-flick and delve into dessert somewhere. Not entirely sure what the night ahead will hold, but it will be fun.
